Hyundai EV Station
Anseong & Icheon, Korea
The Hyundai EV Station project challenged us to bring complex double‑curved geometry to life using engineered stone cladding, a material rarely applied to such freeform surfaces.
To achieve this, Metal Morph conducted high‑precision 3D scanning of the primary structure and developed a custom secondary steel system that could accurately support the curvature of each surface.
We engineered every panel connection and anchoring detail to ensure both dimensional precision and long‑term stability.
Each engineered stone panel was digitally modeled and fabricated through parametric coordination and mold‑based forming, then pre‑assembled and verified before shipment.
By combining digital design, fabrication, and installation consulting, we ensured the façade could be realized seamlessly and durably across two separate sites — Anseong and Icheon.
This project demonstrates Metal Morph’s integrated approach: using digital precision to transform rigid materials into fluid architectural forms while maintaining constructability, performance, and design intent.
