Qatar National Museum

Doha, Qatar

The Qatar National Museum stands as one of the world’s most complex examples of freeform architecture—its iconic interlocking discs pushing the boundaries of design, engineering, and fabrication.

Delivered under a design‑build contract, our team supported the façade contractor by providing comprehensive façade engineering services, from geometric development and digital modeling to coordination and technical documentation.

We led design workshops, resolved RFIs, and secured approvals for shop drawings to ensure the architect’s vision could be realized with precision and constructability in mind.

At that time, our role focused primarily on digital modeling and coordination, but the experience became a turning point. Working through the challenges of curved geometries, manufacturing tolerances, and on‑site alignment revealed the industry’s urgent need for a more integrated, data‑driven approach.

That insight became the foundation of Metal Morph’s philosophy today — bridging digital design, fabrication, and construction to achieve true precision in complex architecture.
